What could you do more of?

Hi there!

My name is Bruno. Just a quick intro about me – I’m a Shih Tzu cross who thrives on fun, laughter, and a fair amount of goofing around. You’ll often find me chasing my tail, romping around with my human siblings, or hanging out with my doggie pals.

Now, I must confess, there’s one thing I absolutely love, much to the dismay of my mum: rolling in the muddiest of patches and, oh, let’s not forget the pièce de résistance, horse poop. Yep, you heard that right! I mean, the aroma? It’s like an expensive cologne, but free! And my white and brown coat? It gets these amazing streaks that, in my eyes, look like a masterpiece. You could say it’s my own unique style statement – a way of letting the world know, “Hey, I’m Bruno. Don’t mess with me!” 😊🐶

But there’s a slight problem. Mum and my human siblings don’t seem to appreciate my fashion-forward (or should I say, fashion-foul?) choices. After my delightful rolling escapades, I’m often greeted with wrinkled noses and exclamations of, “Bruno! Not again!”

The worst part? No more sofa snuggles. The soft, cushiony paradise is off-limits to me. Instead, I end up in the bath, with mum spraying and scrubbing away my glorious scents. I come out smelling like flowers or vanilla or something that’s just… well, not very “dog-like” if you ask me.

So, here’s the deal. I love my family, and I especially cherish those lazy afternoons lounging on the sofa, nestled against my humans. Therefore, I’ve made a resolution: I’ll try to curb my instincts and roll around in mud and poops a little less. If it means more cuddles and longer sofa time, it’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make.

I just hope I can stick to it. For my family. And the sofa.
